How Ask The Experts Works...

Here’s a little rules of the road in terms of Ask The Experts....

-------------------------------------------

We have several well known experts, volunteering their time to help our members by fielding and answering questions that we pose to them and when they have time and can get to the questions they will respond.

Note** If your question is an emergency please seek a veterinarian.

Some questions we will answer for you regarding the ask the experts area....

Q: Where do we draw these questions from?

A: We grab them from various areas on the board from the specific species forums, bird talk forum, recipes, and "Ask A Question Sub Forum" within Ask The Experts and etc..

Q: Why isn’t there an expert area for all the bird species?

A: As of right now we currently have areas set up for "Macaws, Cockatoos, Electus, Amazons, Parrotlets, and African Greys and as more specie experts come on board we will add those areas they have expertise in.

Q: Are members allowed to post and reply to the experts posts?

A: Ask The Experts is a limited area where the Experts are the only people who are able to post. This helps us and them make best use of their time and information without getting sidetracked and answering common questions that come up often. Those topics that are very common and come up all the time will available
in an archive area on the site that anyone can easily access.

Q: Why was my post not answered and or moved to other areas of BirdBoard.com

A: Bird Board members have alot of experience as well and you are free to ask questions at will in the other areas of the site. so if we feel your question can be answered by our experienced group of members we will move it to the bird tallk forum, and or other areas to make sure you get replys and information that will help you...

Remember:

"Bird Talk Forum" is setup for people to talk about anything related to birds, questions, comments, how to's, etc

"Specific Bird Forums" is there if you would like to pose questions and meet more members that have the same species of birds as you do, the specific bird forums are there for that reason.
