amazone behavior

I have "goozer" for 2 months. He is a naped amazone 6 years old. Since the first day he bonded with me like I am his girlfriend. The problem is that he hates my husband and everytime he sees him, he wants to attack my husband or tries to bite him. What can we do for goozer to starts accepting my husband??. Goozer is good with the dogs but also does not want my 4 years old close to him...help please!!.Goozer with me is very sweet, kisses, loves being with me all the time, plays with me..is very funny but has that problem....help. Thanks.Susana.

Out of all the methods i have tried to get my amazon to bond with my wife and i, clicker training has worked the best. start by getting a cheap clicker from petsmart. then take a small twig and let your husband put an end in the cage. When goozer grabs the stick with his mouth {which goozer will do if he is trying to attack him} click the clicker and treat him with his favorite treat. after a couple days of doing this. remove the twig from the equation, and just put the treat in between your fingers and do it again, make sure to click the clicker when he takes the treat.. In no time at all, you will be able to get goozer to step up using this method. True bonding will begin after that .
