To clip or not to clip
Hi, I am new to this forum and I am happy to have found a place to get information. My question is weather I should clip my 3 1/2 yo DYH wing feathers. I like that she can fly in the house, but I have two cages for her outside and it terrifies me to think of her flying away. I have seen a type of harness for parrots at shows and wonder if there is one you would recommend. I would only use it if I were taking her out on my shoulder.

Thank you
What a great article! I am pro flight, so now I need to start training and find Izzie a leash and harness so she can be safely transported outside the home. We will check the links you have provided for help with training. Thank you again.

I successfully use the Aviator harness with my birds so maybe give that one a go. I believe it's the type most often recommended. ![]() The Parrot University Aviator Harness Good luck with whatever you choose!
