Question I need help with my new DYH amazon

I have a new double yellow head amazon she is a sweet heart, I had her for 3 weeks so far she is about 4 month old...anyways, Is it normal that she doesn't want to get out of the cage and come to me and when she is out she wants to go back in even if I have all sorts of toys on the table, I give her treats and sing and read to her...but I do not feel she loves me at all....and about her talking she just mumbles unknown things ...she does not say a word she does unknown voices and noises as if she is talking but they are not words...What do I do...IS there something I can do for her to love me and want to come out and play with me...and is there a method to make her talk clearly...and want to come out and stay out

You need to give her time to adjust to you. Her whole world has changed and it takes time for her to decide it's safe to be there. It has to be on her terms not yours. While not all parrots talk she is quite young and I would not expect her to talk for at least a few months yet. While I don't have experience with the zon I would imagine 6-12 months before she will talk

Life is good when you are the chosen one. Except of course when you get barfed on.

My DYH started to talk while he was being handfed still, but it will vary. The mumbling is normal, she's trying out all the sounds she knows. The best thing to do to get her to talk is to talk to her, like you would a baby. Lots of animation and repeat words often.
Try to play with her away from the cage where she can't see it. Sometimes it seems they can't focus on anything else if they can see the cage.

Sit down near her cage also, read a book or magazine, talk to her, sing to her, give her encouragement.
