It is good that the people that have him are willing to let you have him.
I was keeping my Joey for a breeder and two years later she finds a mate. I begged I cried I offered her the sun. She let me buy him. lol Hope to see new pictures soon.

It seems I may have posted this in the wrong place. My apologies. I'm new! :-) The lady who has him actually rescues birds, fish, etc and normally tries to re-home them. She stated that she knew my husband and I would be back for Pepper as it was devastating for us to leave him behind.
I will have so many pictures of him and of Zazu, another amazon that my husband and I adopted (for a fee) from a lady in St. Louis who was not able to take care of him as a result of illness. I am glad that you were able to at least buy Joey back! I know that I will never again leave Pepper with another person, if he can't come with us, we do not go! lol |
