A friend of mine (Kelly from here) recently rehomed one of these lovelies with me and I absolutely adore her. Matter of fact, she came to me with the name Adora -- so appropriate. I can't give you much scientific info, but I can tell you that of all the 'zons I have she is one of the sweetest and most predictable. I don't advise people to let 'zons on their shoulder, but I let her there with no hesitation. Congratulations and many happy years with your little one.

...I'm also glad to hear others let their birds up on their shoulders! Heehee...I just have to make sure I take off all my jewellery first...she really likes trying to bite through necklaces, reconfigure earrings and has done a number on my brand-new, hard-to-find leather watch strap...
...I've managed to leave my wedding band on, she's trying to bite it off too, but I say 'uh-uh!' and she quits... (well, at least for a while...)......one would think she'd prefer the rawhides, popsicle sticks and other bird-chewies I've bought her, but nooooooo.... ![]()

Just a couple of pics of Ever...she's a funny girl...
...I haven't seen her eat a veggie yet, although I keep offering...but she had a blast destroying the carrot...and in this instance, she actually ate a bit of it... ...I tried to get the cutest pic of the cat and the bird napping together on the coffee table, but the flash woke them up and made them grumpy...the cat is NOT looking at the bird with hungry eyes... ...and a last one of Ever playing crib, unfortuately she cheats and marks the cards...

Well I am just jealous, jealous, jealous!! The Mexican redhead is my second favorite, definitely one of my dream birds. I married a redhead, so I may be partial, but I just think they are gorgeous! I think the red loreds are beautiful too. But, the orange wings take the cake for me, I have to remain loyal to my boy.
I love the names Ever and Adora, very pretty names. Amy, I think I told you before, but I think you have the most unique set of names for your birds. I just love them!

...heh...thanks guys...I still can't believe she was in need of a good home! She really doesn't do anything that I would consider 'wrong'! At any rate, I am not complaining...I'm so glad she came to us!
