Usually I feed my fids fresh food in the mornings but today I'm going out so all they got were their pellets, and when I was fixing a salad for my lunch I saw the sweet peppers and decided to cut up the yellow one, and use a clothes pin and clip a slice of it to the bars of all my fids cages.
As expected the tiels haven't gone near the pepper (because they've never seen it before), and truthfully I didn't expect Petey to go near it either, BUT he did! He actually ate his fill. One of his other 2 owners must have fed him sweet peppers because he knew what it was, and ate it like there was no tomorrow! ![]() |

My DYH is the most finicky eater out there....I will have to try the yellow pepper. He would not eat the green or red......
Thanks for the info!
