Mealy said first word!

Like a proud mommy I was over joyed by Hercules saying a very clear "hello" last night. He has been trying to say it, along with other words, but last night it was unmistakable. We were all eating dinner and he was in his cage, trying to get our attention, cause he was on a "time out", unfortunately he gets a little over excited, and he is jabbering loudly, and there it came HELLO....just thought I would share my excitment.

For those who were told their mealy wouldnt talk much, I am going to have to differ, I do believe that mealy's can be great talkers as well, mine is very vocal and he is only 6 months old. Not that I think that talking is of any importance to a great pet, its just a plus :)

Thank you, he seems to really enjoy Coldplay, I think its the pitch of the voice that he sings in that Hercules seems to like :)

Thanks for sharing the video! What a sweet baby! He has a really sweet voice! I have a 9 month old OWA and I thought mine was sweet! Mine can say Hello and Uh-Oh and Mama but I just love all the chattering too! They are truly precious! Cyd loves music, especially the ladies! Enjoy that baby!
