Question for Amazon Breeders

My new pair of LCA's I got about one month ago have went in to a breeding Frenzy. Is this Normal I have heard that breeding Amazons is not that easy?
As soon as I turn the lights on in the morning they are at it when they are done they take a little nap and right back at it? I worked as fast as Possible and made a nest box for them and got it on the cage ( I made a Large Appartment box rather than the Z box). Today right after filling the feed dishes the male was feeding the female like crazy. I am new to the amazons any Comments would be helpfull thanks.

I am not a breeder of any sort, but some birds can become quite determined to breed, even in a new place. I took in a family of tiels at the very end of November last year, and recently caught two going at it, and these two are NOT a breeding pair! So I had to break them up and separate them!
