It was. We just had a vet visit (annual health check) in Sept and everything was fine. And then a few months back he started acting/looking ill. We took him in, the vet gave us a bunch of meds. He started to perk up a little, and then went downhill fast. All in a matter of days. They do hide things well, and he must have been in trouble for a little while. I was pretty out of sorts for a while. I get teary eyed whenever I think long on his memories, or see pictures that look alot like him.
Skippy is a wonderful distraction. A real sweetheart. When I was told about the possibility of getting Skippy, I was told that she was a he. I was also told he was a mexican red head. I thought I should stick with boys since my other two parrots were boys. I personally don't mind that Skippy DNA'd a girl and a lilac crown. Wally
