Sometimes, dont let the look deceive you....lol, he likes to rough house 80% of the time, he's all about playing. But every now and then he honks like a donkey(mealy noise I guess) and loves getting cuddles. Here's another pic of his "back away, its mine" gesture...

Clippings wings is to prevent the bird from flying into windows, walls, doors, into hot pots or pans with oil, and most of all, preventing the bird from flying out the door. Many people let their birds out of their cages and don't want to risk the chance a bird flying out the door.
