Hmm I was told a mix because her red bleeds into her yellow..but to me she looks autumnalis too...so very well could be.
She is in molt now so have brightened up quite a bit! Though she has more of a lavendar then a blue.
Her sheen is beginning to come out with the better diet :)
So 3 months in she is looking a lot better :)

Red Lored Amaon

Hi there,,,

I have a Red Lored Male 13 yrs old. He will let me do anything to him, scratch his back, spread his wings out, touch him anywhere; however he still even bites me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He loves me but,,,,,,,,,,,, he can get mean.

I have had him for just a year now. His "real" owner was an older lady who passed away when he was 10. He was passed around and finally traded back to the pet store for a puppy. Wilbur wanted me from the first time I said his name. He jumped onto my finger and crawled up my arm to my shoulder and sat there like he was home again !!!!!!!!!!!

Our house is really loud. A husband and a 13 yr old boy,,,,, chocholate lab 7 yrs, black lab mix 9 yrs, and 2 peach faced love birds 2 1/2 yrs (not clipped or hand trained). And now the LOUD parrot...........

Wilbur will talk to me when we are alone,,,,,,,,,

He does play with my son, but never out of the large parrot cage. He lets my husband touch him, sometimes, but really is a "momma's boy" ( the chocholate lab is mine also,,,, He was a Mother's Day present for me as were the Love birds).
