This is very interesting. I recently read an article [Bird Talk mag] on this type of Zon & they seem fabulous - very beautiful. You are so lucky & so is Baby - finally. I loved your technique to get her to eat....so sweet.

It really is a mystery that people are so 'stupid' about animals - at least they weren't resisting of letting her go.

Congratulations on your orange wing! She is a lucky "Baby"! I have a 1 year old OWA male and he is a real sweetie! His name is Cyd and he is always learning something and delighting me! He is a good talker too. Go slow and easy and she will see how much better off she is with you guys. The OWA's seem to be very forgiving and Cyd has never bitten me. He has the vet, but hey, he was drawing blood from his neck so you can't really blame him! Anyway, good luck with your new friend and I just know you won't be disappointed. There is always someone here with answers and a ready helping hand and advise too!
