Arrow Yellow Naped Amazon

hi everyone. I did some posts in the this winter & spring, and now I wish do new post. My name is Max Young. I live in Russia (St Petersburg). Sorry for my English I live in my city all my life. (btw I am 18) but soon I hope I will move to London (I am veterinarian) and it is about my work. I want to take my yellow naped amazon Kesha with me. Maybe somebody took birds in travel? How hard they transfer flight?

Hi Max. The biggest problem with traveling with birds is really the paperwork and the quarantine. In England, they are very strict about importing birds, even pets. If memory serves me, I believe your amazon will be in quarantine for something like 3 months before you can come and get him. I'm sure that others who have investigated this will chime in. With the bird flu panic all over the world, it may be even more difficult to bring your bird with you. I wish you luck. Wow, I can't imagine being a vet at 18! In America, by the time you finish med school and vet school, you'd be closer to 30.

Hi everyone again)) So long time didn't write here. I think some people do remember me;) My amazon parrots are ok. I have bought little female yellow crowned amazon. She's name is Cherry (on rus. - Vishn'a) ;-) And they made a pair with my male. I wanna show my birds to you. I hope it will ok.
