Today I found a listing on the Nashville Craigslist for a Mexican Redhead Amazon. I called the woman to get more information about him so that I can pass it on to you all. I'm hoping someone will know someone that is looking for a new fid. The rescue groups in my area are either defunct or not very active... seeing as I've been trying to foster for them for months and they never return my calls. Off topic, sorry...
He is 8 years old, his hatch-day is May 17th. He is in good health and excellent feather (does not pluck)

. He is on a diet of Zupreem pellets, fruits and veggies--bananas and the occasional pecan are his favorite treats. The owner stated that he meows and calls the kitties in for the night.
The reason she is looking for a new home is that she feels like she isn't giving him the time he needs. She stated that she feels that when you buy a pet that you've made a committment for its entire life. She recognizes that he will have a very long life and she wants him to have a better one than what she can provide.
Along with him will come his cage, toys, food dishes and all his extras.
Please respond back if you are interested, or can help. I'll call the owner again to get any further information or pics if needed.
