My Kokis-YNA Passed away this morning

Kokis came to live with me from a family who smoked like chiminies, when they brought him to me they gave me his bag of food which stunk of cigarrets, his feathers were in the worst condition ever and he was on a seed/peanut diet, i knew he wasnt a healthy bird like the previous owner said he was but i just felt so awful leaving him in that condition so i bought him off fro her, he came with one of those small old style cages that was way too small for an amazon plus it was round, i bought him a huge spacious cage and took him to a bird groomer to wash his feathers out (he had some sort of tar on his feathers?) she also clipped his nails after that he looked like a new bird and for me it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship, i thought him tricks like putting his wings up, which i used in order to check if he needed a wing clipping, how to wave and say hi or hello at the same time, how to "answer" the phone (everytime i was on the phone he would always say "hi, hellooooo, ok, ok, ok, bye", he was a great bird, recently hes been having seizures but this morning he had a strong onw which took him from me, i did all i could but i guess the fatty liver disease and the living in a high smokers house for 4 years got to him, it feels so empty without him...i just thought i would share that.....and also PLEASE! PLEASE! choose the best diet for your feahered friend dont just give him what he will eat think about the long run of their lifes, it holds their future.
