Talking Fostering Orange Winged Amazon!

Hello,

I'm Cassie, and my family and I are recently FOSTERING a Orange Winged Amazon.

He is a real hoot and likes to say Hello, and will do the wolf wistel if you ask him to.

I already own A parrotlet, A hyasinth macaw, A Green Cheek Conure, and am looking after a cockatiel at the moment.

I need some more knowledge about these kinds of birds than I already know

Thanks in Advance,

_Cass_

orange wing

I have an orange wing that we have had since 1989. His name is Grok. He is self sufficient, funny, and annoying...LOL! He is typical of amazons, who are not exactly cuddly but can be entertaining. He says a few words, but amazons can be real good talkers. Grok really prefers to be in his cage. He is a big eater..he demands to eat what ever we are eating. And I mean demands. He makes the sound of cockateils, but at the volume of an amazon. Not exactly melodic like teils. We also have 2 umbrellas. What a huge contrast. The Too's are needy and cuddly. Anyway, that is pretty much it in a nutshell
I have known several amazons, and in general amazons are real territorial about their cages and not cuddly, but good eaters. Have fun! Laura
