My guy LOVES to shred stuff too. And he likes little chunky wood chews. He'll hold it in his foot and chew the things to bits! He likes toys with ropes and knots that he can fiddle with. He even likes these little clip things that he likes to unscrew and open.
He's the same as others mentioned, likes just about anything as long as it's not bigger than him!

My zons like shredable wood toys, Almonds in the shells are a good toy/treat, but my wife's zon things I am his shredable toy...LOL...not always, but he does at times. They seem to like those liberty type bells. You can get ideas from looking at Windy City Parrot, Drs. Fosters & Smith, Tri State Toys just to name a few places.... two or more toys are recommended, and changing them now and then with different ones to help prevent boredom. My zons also like the 'foot' toys, smaller toys than just the hanging ones, and they also like things they can climb. We got our LCA a new cage with the play top, but I also got a ladder so she can come from her cage to the sofa and visit with me. She's been lovin' the change. Used to have just a t-perch for her to come out on, which was between the sofa and her cage.
Just be careful as some toys' paint is not healthy for your bird. If you buy bird toys, make sure they are from a reputable pet trade manufacturer or some one you trust. Our birds like to chew slices of papertowel tubes (unscented type), and I've made paper trees for them which they play with [usually destroy them much faster then I can make them]. Wally

I used to use empty paper towel rolls and tolet paper rolls and I was told they contain zinc and it wasn't safe for our parrots. So I stopped using then and so did a lot of my other bird friends.
My toys varies because of the different species I have.My Blue Front Amazons prefer the large Macaw wood toys and the booda perches and rope swings.I try and give them a variety of things to keep them busy. What seems to be a big hit with all my parrots are the Jungle Talk(Talk 'n Play)Interactive Sound &Light Toy.It keeps them busy even after hours. The Indestructable bells are a big hit too.My Yellow Nape picks and chooses his toys.
