Scared to Death... but all is okay now

I have been trying to do the exercises to get Gracie to wear a harness. They say you have to put your fingers around her neck to get her used to that. That one isn't too bad. But you have to get her used to touching her wings and then be able to lift them. Well, she hates, i mean hates to be touched. If you try to just pet her she whiles and wiggles away. She only likes head scritches when she is the mood for them. She will put her beak on your nose and then bow her head for scritches. Other than that, don't touch. I tried to just touch, touch her wings and she started to to bite, not bite but grab you with her beak, and if you try again later she will use more pressure. Then when you just want her to step up she is biting first, if you move your hand at all she goes for you with her beak.

I am concerned she will turn into a biter and I don't want that. I stopped touching her wings for the past 3 days and the beaking stopped. Now do I push the issue or just never take her outside and bag the harness I bought?
