Wow Charlie is handsome the onky Festive Amazon I've seen was in
a book how lucky you are to be able to adopt one at that age.I hope you's both have a good life and that the adoption goes well.

I go to pick up Charlie on the 26th.

He sounds like a lovely bird that just needs the opportunity to blossom, and I hope to give him ample opportunity to shout, shred, boing, laugh, fling, devour, savour, exercise, socialize, and be as much of a pest as he can manage to be. Or, if he so wishes, he can certainly be an elderly gentleman. Whatever. He's coming home.

How lucky am I???? Somebody pinch me, I must be asleep.

Wow that bird is four years older than me. I thought I was old. Congrats. He is beautiful. You dont see very many Festive Amazons. Very exciting stuff! Go get him and post some pics when hes all settled in.
