He has only been home a few days but I found out from the previous owner that he would only step up on a stick from inside the cage - well, today he stretched his leg right out to me and stepped right up! I put him on the stand and gave him a treat :-)
I am so proud that he is trusting me that much already!

Thanks for sharing. That's what we are here for because lets face it, people who aren't bird people think we are a little nuts for getting excited about these things. That's why we need to celebrate together. Nuts or not, we know how much these little victories mean.
