Jesse actually let me pet him today...he was rubbing his head on his bars and flaring his eyes he kept doing that everytime i walked by his cage so finally i just decided to chance it reached through the bars and started giving scritches!!!! He didn't even try to bite me as a matter of fact he went into total relax mode I am so super happy right nowplus i have discovered something about jesse just cuz his eyes are flaring doesn't mean he is going to bite (not saying he doesn't flare his eyes when he's ready to bite either just saying not all the time) if his eyes are flaring he could be getting ready to talk, whistle OR wants scritches...now the african grey is just the opposite if her eyes are flaring look out forget biting she wants to kill
