My DYH

I had the camera out and Tigger was checking it out. You can't really see the red on his shoulder because of the way he has his head turned. He is coloring out really well. He just turned two and is so yellow, he'll be stunning as an adult

He is a very gorgeous bird. How much talking does he do. I really wanted a DYH when I got my LCA two weeks ago and when I had been on a list for a couple of months and a DYH was still not available, I decided to get her and she is beautiful and a very good personality. But, I am aware that she probably will not talk like the DYH would have. Maybe next year - lol!

He talks nonstop, but seldom in front of us. We sit and listen to him when he is in the bird room, although he is getting better about talking with us.
I brought him home when he was on three feedings a day. I knew he would be a talker when he started saying hello while I was still handfeeding him.

His coloring is gorgeous! He's going to have a lot of yellow! I just love amazons. Aren't they great?

Wow - he is just stunning!! The double yellow head is by far my favorite amazon and yours is just beautiful.
