Breeding Mexican red Head amazons

Hi there. I am soon going to purchase a pair of mexican red head amazons (green cheeked amazons). This pair was a proven pair but one day a mealy amazon came close to the cage and flirted with the female mexican red head amazon. The pair began to fight so they separated the mexican red head pair.

This pair is for sale and i told the girl to put them close to eachother to see if they show interest. If they show interest, should i buy the pair?

Also, for breeding amazons, a cage of 3ft wide 5 ft long and 3 ft high ok? Are the mexicans hard to breed?

Thanks for your help
