My Rehomed BFA
Jasper has been here just about a week. He got a clean bill of health at the vet, and we are just waiting for his Chlamydia test to come back. Last night for the first time, he put on quite a display for me and my kids. My 5 year old was laughing till she couldn't breathe! His eyes were pinning furiously--something I've never seen before. I'm gonna assume it was from excitement, though I certainly wasn't going to touch him in that state! He was hopping around his cage, bowing, fluffing up his head and neck feathers. He would imitate my daughter's laughing, doing a very good imitation of a man's laughter whenever she prompted him. He also seemed to be saying something over and over--either "Oh no" or "Oh boy". Does this mean he's getting more comfortable with us? It was hilarious, in any case.
