I will be getting a YNAmazon tomorrow. Lady is moving and has three for sale. I will meet the parrot and see its condition and have questions. I received pictures and he looks very healthy. She is selling him to me for $200. Now it is not about the money but would that be a reasonable deal if it is healthy and personable. She says it talks like crazy!

Yes, that's a great deal! Does the bird come with cage? Be sure to ask about diet!

To ensure the birds health, you would have to take him/her to an avian vet.

also remember that if he/she doesn't like you at her house doesn't mean it won't like you once you get the bird home and also the other way around mine liked me at his house then when we got him home he bit me and could not stand me at first NOW it's so opposite hates EVERYONE but me just loves me and our yellow naped likes attention but only on his terms (hated us when we went to look at him) then decided he hated hubby now he seems to prefer hubby, our grey is the same loved me at the store got her home and HATES ME TO THIS DAY and we got her 6 yrs ago

That's a great deal. A baby around here would cost $1,300 or so. If it looks like a nice bird I'd grab it.

I just met one this afternoon named Marvin. He is beautiful. If I get an Amazon I want a Mexican Red Head but it wouldn't take much to convince me to get a double yellow head, especially at that price.
