I picked up my YNAmazon last evening. I asked plenty of questions but unfortunately they do not know its age. Its appearnce overall (eyes, feet, beak etc) look good. Eyes were bright and it was very alert. I was so surprised on my ride home that she (Harriet) was saying words to me. It even immitated some vocal sounds I was making. As soon as I took her out of the travel cage she climed up to me and snuggled against my face. She kept saying hello, how are you and so forth. She is just adorable. I could handle her and she would not bite or even show intention to. Now my wife on the other hand was biten. Too bad haha!!!!! I am just so pleased that she likes me it almost makes me want to cry. Sorry! My cockatoo doesn't even care that she is there. She is totally oblivious and visa versa. Which is good. I am going to work on Harriets diet (seeds) The travel cage was very big and heavy. It looked brand new. they even made sure that the cage and bottom of the cage was clean with fresh newspaper etc. It shows they care! I do wish I new her age!!! I will visit a vet and see if they can give some clue yound, middle age, senior. She is alert, loving and crawls like a monkey. She has all her feathers. Her feet do have loose skin but that can be taken care of. She is definitely worth $200.

Yeah, you can't tell us all these stories and not give us any pictures.

I am so glad that everything is working out so nicely for the two of you. I hope she warms up to your wife but that may never happen.
