Question Help with introducing new DYH to our DYH

Hi
We fostered kittens/cats and know what to tell someone almost anything about a cat. Now, we are fostering a DYH. Are there certain guidelines to follow when introducing 2 DYH? We have 2 stands in our dining room. Merlin, our zon, is used to coming down and *eatting* with us on his stand. The newbie zon's cage is in the room behind the stands. We have never let them both out in the same room at the same time. But boy, do they holler at each other. They are finally starting to calm down with the vocals, but the body language is terrific. Struttin with the tail feathers flaired....well you guys know. Is this normal behavior? I know Merlin is a male, had him sexed. But the new zon, which we are fostering, not sure. We are assuming he is a male. Any hints on introducing would be helpful. This poor foster zon has had it rough and likes to lunge.
Thanks
