looks like an Alexandrine, but then I've never seen an IRN in it's natural color, cute picture!

Alexandrines, at least to me, seem to have much more flatter heads, along with beaks that, in proportion, are bigger to their heads than the indian ringnecks. Not only that, but alexandrines have a patch of red on the wings. I'm not used to seeing such vibrant violet-blue coloration on the indian ringnecks, but this one deffinitely appears to be a male indian ringneck!

I got a good example (live) of an alexandrine about 7 feet away from me! So you would think I could tell one from a picture!! Wasn't sure what they looked like as babies. You said that very nicely, beaks in proportion bigger to their heads, she has a giant schnozolla, but it's all part of her charm. Never saw an IRN that color that is a very pretty bird.

No, I don't know where the picture came from. A friend who knew I liked birds found it somewhere on the internet.
