Congratulations. I love the name. He has a very sweet face. That cage is like the mansion of Amazon cages. I will not let Annie see pictures of it. She will think she took a vow of poverty or something.

Lovely bird!
Is it the nominate farinosa farinosa?
A breeder friend of mine has a couple of those but they are effing huge don't know if that is individual (guess so to some extent) or depending on subspecies?
Nevertheless, very nice looking bird!

Thanks, he's alot of fun

As for his species, he should be all Farinosa. His clutch mates (both Girls) had yellow and red on the tops of their heads. He has a very, very tiny yellow feather on his.

I don't have a weight on him yet, but he's pretty big compared to my Red Lored. He is almost if you could say "one size up" if you were talking shoes

Congrats! Congrats! Congrats! He has those sweet brown eyes with the long lashes like my bfa. Beautiful, beautiful baby. What do he and Hoosier think of each other?

Well, last night was a different story than today. Hoosier was very on guard, I saw a tiny bit of pinning and tail flaring (which you NEVER see from him) very rare I will say.

Today was alot different. Their cages are in separate parts of the house. He can hear us and Hoosier if he's in him room. We take him out into the great room a few times a day to hang out with us and to be with all the action. A few times he flew, once towards Hoosiers cage and Hoosie went after him, never got near to do anything but we realized that his cage is HIS and that is that and I knew this already (you can blame Daddy for that one)

Later in the day, they got to be within I'd say 2 ft from each other with Brian our Friend and Dave his Daddy watching the two. No aggression from Hoosier at all and Kazoo doesn't seem to care, but he probably misses his clutch mates.

I have a feeling that in due time the boys will be able to hang together in a neutral zone aka Playstand.
