Hey, sorry for the confusion. No...fin is not the amazon from the pet store. I thought and thought about it, and as much as I wanted to get him out of there...I know that by paying the $750 for him...I would basically be supporting this store and allow him to just purchase another bird to put in the same situation. As much as I want to, I am not going to do that.

Fin is a rescue zon, I got him from a rescue who is a member of this board actually. He basically spent SEVERAL years in a cage. He is between 10 and 15 years old.

He made himself at home right away. He will nip when he doesnt want to go back in his cage, but he is much better now. He loves to preen my hair and he is the only bird in my house who I have left flighted. HE LOVES to fly..and come and find me. All I have to do is call for him, and here he comes! LOL. He has even learned to land on my shoulder.

He is a sweet boy, he just needed a human of his own who would respect him and love him. He spends most days just hanging out on his playgym on top of his cage chattering back and forth with my macaws and my grey. He and my Scarlet Macaw Lilly have become buddies also. He flys over to her cage to keep her company and she seems to enjoy him. They just sit on top of the cage and watch the world go by...haha.
