Hi again

Not been on for a while. I first came on here about eighteen months ago when i brought GIZMO my 6 yo Orange Winged Amazon home ( fourth home and final one at that ) xx This is a great place for specific amazon experiences.

Anyhow Gizmo is doing fab, she has become more confident every day and especially so since i introduced baby Dusty CAG to the flock last December. Gizmo flies all over the house, from room to room, she has made me a very proud mum to see her progress. Here is a couple of pics xx

That's a great photo of the two of them. I would frame it. Very beautiful birds.

Thanks all x Yes i was a bit weary of introducing a new bird to Gizmo and a grey at that, but as time goes on they seem to be getting on better and better. Gizmo will always be my number one if you know what i mean she was the one who was neglected for months and still shows signs of that at times xx thanks again xx

Wow, I just saw those videos of Gizmo preening you. Why anyone would neglect such a sweet helpless animal that can live as long as a human is beyond me. I'm jealous Gizmo loves you that much. My YNA of 20 + years have never preened me so extensively, but I think Gizmo really appreciates what you have done. Tell Gizmo to stay away from the dirty human mouth bacteria! I always get a kick when zons preen eyelashes so gently. It's a scary thought with a YNA!
