Victorian code of practice for the housing of caged birds.

Code of practice for the housing of caged birds

This is very interesting, whether you live in Vic or elsewhere. It is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries to not restrict your birds ability to fly. Clipping wings should apparently only be done for 'health reasons'

In terms of 'minimum' standards, i think they are great! It's not just food, shelter, water anymore.

They specifically mention feeding vegies & sprouts!

this may not be relivent but shelter is not a legal obligation in planted out aviarys
