sick Scarlet chested

Bought a young scarlet six weeks ago, they are four months old.
One is just not coming around, sits motionless, eyes closed and somewhat glazed.
She is eating but just sits there, I just moved them to get more natural light.
The other bird is fine.
any initial thoughts?

Hi,

I have large birds but I hope everything will turn out for the best. Has this been going on for a couple of days or just start? How is the birds breathing, labored? Since we are not vets and can't see the bird it is hard to determine what is going on. A call to the vet or a visit tomorrow would help.

In the mean time you might try a couple of drops of, Echenicia, and see if it perks your bird up. Adding pedalyte or gatorde mixed 50/50 with water also may help. The electrolytes in the pedalyte or gatorade can also help. Keep the bird warm, 85 degrees until it feels better.

Good luck and were here for you.

Now that they're healthier - how about some photos?
So glad to hear things are better.

Dr. Rob decided to try the Anti's and we have her in a brooder. I added the Gatorade and she is doing better. No "diagnosis" to speak.

Not very PC friendly but I will try and get some pix up
