what other birds can i put with a Rosella ?

since i am thinking about this. if i do have to seperate my lads. i wouldn't mind expanding.

Are Cockatiels or parakeets compatable with Rosella's ? i would prefer to stay with Australian birds. but if i had to go South American or African i'll think about it.

i've done some reasearch on the subject. but its pretty vague. i get the impression i can house Rosella's with other birds. but there may be more fighting.

anyone ???

i have read that rosellas can learn to get along with other birds in an aviary too but not sure which ones,i tried to introduce my rosella to my ringneck but they both became very aggressive and i wouldnt try it again,so dont try ringnecks.

My experience is that Ollie, my rosella, can be very aggressive towards the tiels. It has got to the stage where I cannot let them both out together- Ollie lives quite happily on his own in a cage next door to the tiels.

My western rosellas do well in the flight of cockatiels and ringneck DOVES. My eastern rosella is a little more aggressive. He leaves the cockatiels alone but tends to bully one of my older (somewhat crippled) ringneck dove if she's perched where he wants to perch.
