rosellas

hi as you probally know im back for information again

my rosellas since yesterday have started to mate does this mean that she will produce eggs as he mounted her more than once

i was told that they wont mate till march is that true or can they mate and not produce eggs thanks for any info

If it's the start of the breeding season then they will start mating. Mating does not automatically mean eggs.
In Oz I think official start of breeding season is August/September but some birds do go down early some late.
It's almost Autumn in Australia and I've got Red Rumps that are still starting nests!
