Splendid Behavior. Anyone?

Ive read about it before but cant locate the info now. I Have a pair of Scarlet Chesteds and they are young. This is my first pair of this species. The male is exhibiting a wing vibrating behavior. Is this a breeding behavior? I know Ive heard of this but .... anyone here breed them???

hey, im new

i breed scarlets, thats wot i call them anyway,

is this behaviour in the male bird, as mine display it as well, um, i think it may be a breeding thing, to do with breeding stress, as males that aren't breeding, usually dont have this vibrating behaviour, i no older male splendids do it, but if ur saying this one is young, it may be to do with breeding stress????
im sorry, that it doesnt help much, but maybe try spraying him for mites?
and check his vent for diarroha (i cant spell), but if u r shore his young, i really couldn't think of anything else, sorry

i've got a bird club meeting tonight, and there are splendid breeders there, i will ask 4 u

No no, he is not sick. I believe it is mating behavior too - he is young but getting close to mating age and he has a hen. Its cool looking when he does it.
