Elegant Parrot german names are "Schmucksittich".

They are really quite pretty... and elegant ;)

I've not ever seen elegant parakeets at a pet store so it is indeed a treat to see your photos!

How do they compare in behavior to budgies?

Hi Eliza,

its pleased to meet you, thats you find the elegants cute.

Elegants are very rare in pet shops, mostly she gives only at a breeder.

Elegants are very cute parrots, just like bourkes.

The grass parrots are are quieter than budgies. She are very good aviator.

elegants are great birds. I kept a pair a couple of years ago. They are easy to breed and mantain in Australia, and i hope to get a pair of pied elegants in the future

oh jes, Elegants are very nice birds and so clever.

I have Theo and Thria ever since the 10. january these years.
