baby bird born without wings
i just collected 3 baby red rumpeds from their nest, their mother had alot of feathers in the nest so i thought there was only 2 babies in it, so i got a shock when i seen the 3rd one, it is half the size of the other 2 and has stomps for wings, his eyes are open and he seems to be feeding ok ,i read in a bird book that sometimes the father would try to kill the weakling of the group, what do u think? and what is the chances of the little one surviving without wings?

he can survive just fine. there are alot of birds out there with disabilities.
you might have to handfeed/or find someone to help you, if its the father doing this.
