Bourkes with other birds

Hello, all.

I have a lineolated parakeet that is currently sharing a house with a budgie. Well the vicious little budgie has plucked the back of my linnie's neck bare so they have to be separated. He thinks he's just "playing" but she thinks that she's getting preened...

I don't want to keep my linnie alone because she seems so much happier with a cage-mate to snuggle with and preen but I need a calm gentle bird.

I've done some researching and I think that a bourkes may fit the bill. Am I correct in assuming that they'd make a good cage-mate to another calm gentle species?

Thanks for your input!

I don't really know much about linnies but I can say that bourkes are much sweeter calmer birds than budgies!

I keep a parakeet (budgie), rosie bourke, and splended/scarlet chested all together. They are all good friends. I am not sure about the linnie as I've never had one but if he is docile and pretty tame then a bourke shouldn't give him much grief.
