Congratulations! Seeing that is one of the best feelings that you can get. It is so great to see a new life! I used to love seeing the newly hatched babies!

Have any of the other eggs hatched yet? The mother is beautiful and I am sure that all of her babies will be as well! Is she a blue rump mutation?

Thanks! Yes, she is one of three blue/green rumps that we have. Two more have hatched as of this morning. Here is a picture and a short video I shot. We should have another 6-7 hatch within the next week or so. Here is a link to the Baby Blog on our website if you are interested.
