I'd go with probably a cinnamon.... Definitely not an opaline!

i would think a fallow, cinnamon are a shade or two lighter.how old is she?
as if shes young, she has red spots on her rump. in no other mutation is there red through the rump at all on a female, unless it has a tad of the opaline gene in it? otherwise could be a young cock.

She's a Pallid Opaline Hen, which is a rare mutation. You're lucky to have her, I have one myself who is very similar in colour. I have a recent pic of her below, so you can see the similarities. Yours has the red flecks closer to her rump, but mine's got them on the back of her head and back :).
Beautiful birdies you have there, I'd love to see more pics! ![]() This is my Piper, so named because of her lovely trilling at 5am...

she is not an opaline mutation; i thought so as well at first but look at the eyes. Black eyed Clear eyes on amanda143's bird; while goddesseternel, yours has normal strained eyes, proving it amandas is defantly a dilute, pallid or fallow. The red is on the rump is coincerdental, but the one on goddesseternels is on the back, showing it's defantly an opaline, and that they are both defantly not the same mutation, one being an opaline and the other dilute, pallid or fallow.
