how old is the appropirate age for breeding bourkes?

I'm with Amanda. A year minimum, 18 months plus even better. Whilst they might be able to reproduce younger they just don't quite have the maturity to parent. Having said that I have seen some brilliant young parent birds but it's better to wait and let them get a bit of maturity physical and mental.
