Talking My new baby, Moo-shoo!!

Hello everyone! You may have seen the announcement of my new baby under another thread, however
I figured that I might as well post any continuances under the appropriate species.

So here goes, my new baby is a rock pebbler/regent parrot.

I am hoping for a male, however it'll be a bit before we get the results back.

In these first two pics, the rock pebblers are the darker colored babies.

These pictures are from 4/6/09

These are the pictures from 4/15/09

There are actually three babies, the youngest is rooming with a couple of red rumps.
I'm really hoping there is at least 1 male, as it has been posted on many sites that the males make better
pets, though it was never stated why. If in fact there is a male for me, his name will be Moo-shoo!

For those of you unfamiliar with the species, I will save you the googling and am directing you to my
previous thread on BB... New Baby Announcement... There is species info as well as pics of both male
and female adults & a juvenile male.

Enjoy & thanks so much for looking!

They are beautiful, I mean handsome! I truly hope that at least one is a male for you. Make sure that you let us know the results. If they are all females are you going to wait?

Ya know, Matt... I just don't know. I'd like to say yes, since the male is my dream bird, not to mention I am definately more drawn to the coloring of the males, however will power is truly not one of my strong traits.
I'm working with the sweetest breeder and she will give my deposit back if she doesn't have a male. She has already sent their dna to the lab, and she is paying for it eventhough she doesn't usually dna babies before selling unless the future owner requests/pays for it. She really is a nice lady that you can tell truly cares about her birds. Tonight she called me twice, just so I could hear their cry for food before she fed them, and then again after she had fed them to hear their "cooing" and "meeking" noises asking to be held and for cuddles.

AND, don't you worry, the second I get the results as to weather there is a boy or not, I will definately be posting the results!

Keep your fingers crossed for me!
