Smile Moo-shoo update w/pics

Hello everyone! I've been very busy with the boys (the fleshy ones) this summer, so not having as much BB
time as I normally do. However, I have managed to find time for a much needed Moo-shoo update!
She is doing beautifully overall, with the exception of having a sinus infection. Poor baby girl.
She is on meds and is already looking better & acting more like her bubbly self.
The more I think about it the more I honestly feel a rock-pebbler is the perfect "first bird". She is easy to handle,
loves to eat her pellets, fruits, & veggies. She plays well on her own & is stocky & solid, and never bites...
she'd much rather "complain" or "yell" @ you, lol. She is also fairly quiet... she is simply perfect!!

Here are a few pics of her during her outdoor shower the other day (she wasn't feeling too great, as her
antibiotics hadn't quite kicked in yet)

Dozing in the warmth of the afternoon...

Below are a few pictures of her today (she's feeling much better) playing on the hanging playgym...

Oh, how I love the coloring on her wings... I think it is an absolutely beautiful combination of colors...

Her eyes are still a bit swollen and glossy, however she is definately improving.

* Fingers crossed she will be back @ her best, asap. *

Regents are beautiful birdds- and im shore they make lovely tame pets but the reason they're not so popular in the tame pet trade is they do require large housing and a very active nature as they mature- therefore not the bird you can go on holidays and just leaave in the cage for a week without getting it out and exercising.
in our aviaries; they have always been very sweet birds and a delight for anyones birding purposes if you have a cage to fit them! this also aplies with the princess parrot, and superb (barraband). I dont mean giant housing but nothing fit for a ringnneck, cockatiel or pet conure. As the polytelis group which consists of the three species (princess, regent, superb) are often referred to as "longtails" due to their large tails. Being an Australian parrot they would preferably like to fly up and down their housing long ways than climb and explore their cage as do conures; if you saught of get what i mean?
that is the reason there not so popular, a shame because they are a beautiful bird and most dont know what there missing out on!
in australia this bird is a popular aviary bird, and is usually given the housing requirement of up to 4m, per pair! which is not unjust for the birds as they love to fly, fly, fly!

Regents are worth giving ago, but it is important t meet their requirements to anyone lookiing into purchase.

Moo-shoo is beautiful, and yes the wing colours really work, i agree!

Zac.

She's a beautiful little girl. I think the colors on her wings are stunning. Her coloring reminds me of an amazon. I hope she feels better quickly. My mom's moluccan has a respiratory infection earlier this year. It made her feel yucky too. Thank you for sharing her with us!
