can you identify this bourke

the breeder we bought him from said it was a rosey split to lutino and it receantley molted and grew in many yellow feathers i have no idea what it is.

Can you identify this bourke?

Are you questioning whether the breeder is honest in his saying it is split to lutino? I know sometimes birds feather color changes due to poor diet. Maybe this has something to do with how it was first raised. I guess you will have to wait for another molt to find out.*-

I would think that sometimes you will see a visual split depending on what the parents have in their bloodlines.

This website may help. He sure does bare allot of resemblance to the "edged" bourkes Ive seen which are rare and this was the only pic I can find online so far
