Wild geese in Germany need international help!
Hi to all of you,
the German federal state government of Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) is planning to permit shooting of goose which have been protected until now: White-fronted, Bean Goose, Brent Goose and Egyptian Goose. In addition the existing hunting season for Greylag and Canada Geese is planned for extension. With a petition we want to stop this permit and hope that many of you will help to protect the geese. Pls look at the petition and in case of support, please sign it. Hope that many of you will help us (like with the petition against hunting birds with glue or with net-traps in Spain, where we won the battle!) to protect these birds (even they are no cockatoos). Thank you so much. Gitti from Germany |

Hi,
I have forgotten to tell you that here on the German page you can check if you are shown on the list (petition). If there are any problems please let me know, I'll try to explain and/or translate it. Gitti |

Hi,
the petition will accept your signature, by filling out all fields you need to input the street and no. (also it will accept "not indicated" - hope also the authorities will accept it) and in the field PLZ (city code) type e.g. 11111 and then your town and country, also a valid email-address, then it should work? When it was prepared nobody thought about the international addresses, but with tricks also "non-German-signatures" will be included. Regards Gitti |

I've signed the petition. You can click on the British flag and the information will be translated into English. The petition, however, is in German. After I put my name, I typed in my street address, then CO for Colorado and USA.
Good luck in reversing this awful problem. Please keep us posted.
