Shouting Macaw scares off burglar at pet store

This is not the first time this has happened (and made into the news), but still good for a giggle!

From Reuters Oddly Enough section:

BOSTON (Reuters) - Watch dogs are a pretty common first line of security for U.S. homes and businesses. Watch birds not so much. But that didn't stop Merlin, a seven-year-old blue-and-gold macaw who scared off a burglar at a Massachusetts pet store this week.

That is funny. I dont think anyone would walk into my place,lol. evil looking dog snarling at the door and I always leave the TV on for the fids and a light so if you look in you get snarling pooch, you can see the tv and lights on and "someone" yelling "STOP IT" "Shut up". My luck someone will call police saying they are worried cause no one will answer the door but they can hear them in there,lol!! Gotta Love those talking birds!
