Nature: PBS

(Sunday) evening 1/27, Nature is doing an hour episode about the parrots of Australia. I'm sure they'll show lots of Eclectus, I hope. It's at 8:00pm EST on PBS.

I watched it...

The eclectus are quite the fickle and randy little birdies, aren't they??

And it didn't show the 'toos in a very good light. The numbers of budgies flying together was unbelieveable!!!

Actually, I didn't get a chance to watch it yet. I pre-recorded it on demand and now I am going to watch it. Did you enjoy it?

Yes,

I loved the show. It actually grabbed the attention of BOTH of my sons as well. They are 18 and 12 and don't usually hang with mom to watch TV.

We ALL enjoyed it!

Great! I am glad that both you and your family enjoyed it. Now, I am going to watch it and will be back to discuss the show further.
I am out of here before someone spills the beans... LOL

I watched it too but I was disappointed that they showed a whole 5 seconds of tiels taking a bath in the rain and that's it.... I watched it with Zeke. He's my couch potato and he loved it. Even started talking to the tv a couple times. It was a very good show...living on a farm I thought we had problems with crows here lol.

I finally watched it. I thought that it was a great show!

Boy, birds sure do tend to look so much better in the wild. That show really had me thinking... In captivity, what is the best thing that we can do to help our birds mature to be just as beautiful as they where intended to be in the wild?
