Im so glad you got Dolly back - what an ABC News Video!
Im terrified of heights too but I know that I would be climbing up there, too, if my macaw got loose! Altho Im so careful about the doors, I lost a parakeet the same way. Its time to trim Gracies wings today and I clip the flight feathers to the length of her secondary feathers, so if she falls, she can flutter down to break the fall, yet can still fly a short distance - very short! I will post your facinating story and video to the macaw talk yahoo group and encourage you to send both in to the companion parrot magazine and get a free subscription for it, to too!
